SARAFINA

LUDLOW

Actor - Writer - Director

is an actor-writer-director in Los Angeles. She fell in love with ‘Showboating’ at a young age when she discovered that she could impersonate Elvis and that adults would find it hysterical. She went on to perform throughout childhood, primarily musical theater, and then took a brief break to obtain a degree in human nutrition and consider being a doctor. Upon realizing that being a doctor would mean way less stage time, she hopped on a plane to Chicago (literally the night of her college graduation) and began training and performing at the Second City and Improv Olympic. She now resides in Los Angeles where she performs a new sketch show every month with the house sketch team TOAST at The Upright Citizen’s Brigade, and currently is directing a production of “Motherf*cker with the Hat” for the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Sarafina was named ‘Best of Fest’ for her stand-up at Utah’s Electric Comedy Festival, she was nominated for ‘Best Director’ by BroadwayWorld LA, and was a finalist in the Midnight NYC screenplay writing competition.

Whether she’s playing a middle school boy or a crotchety old lady, Sarafina loves to make people laugh and will try out any wig and voice to make it happen. Her stand-up explores being a virgin until 25 and all the ways she earned the title of ‘The Goblin King.’ She has a passion for acting and this work as a whole, and strives to create content that will make you momentarily forget the world is on fire. You can find her doing stand-up around LA, on stage at UCB with a new sketch show each month, or doing bits on Instagram @sarafina_ludlow.
